Post Graduate Work Permit
In addition to the abundant opportunities available to international students in Canada, one of the greatest benefits is the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). This permit is granted upon completing a post-graduate program at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) and offers valuable work experience in Canada.

*Prices are indicative and may vary based on case complexity.
- Location: You can submit your PGWP application from both inside and outside Canada.
Benefits of a PGWP
A PGWP can be valid for a period ranging from 8 months to 3 years, depending on the duration of your study program. An immigration officer will assess your supporting documents to determine the exact validity period of your permit.
With a PGWP, you can work full-time or part-time for any employer in Canada, gaining valuable Canadian work experience. This experience can be advantageous if you plan to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence in the future. Additionally, a PGWP provides temporary legal status to work in Canada.
It is crucial to note that a PGWP cannot be extended beyond its initial validity. However, while your PGWP is valid, you can apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) if you have submitted a PR application. Alternatively, you can change your status to that of a visitor if you wish to stay in Canada longer.
